The Moorie Boarding kennels are a modern purpose built kennel facility situated In the South of Aberdeenshire near the picturesque village of St Cyrus. Since opening in 2005 many dogs have enjoyed a break at the Moorie. We are fully licensed and insured with 15 full/part time employees who have been fully trained. They are all experienced, enthusiastic individuals and are confident in looking after all kinds of dogs! We offer daily viewings between 11am-3pm with no appointment necessary. Services
We offer short term and long term boarding in a kennel environment. The dogs have enclosed exercise pens they get out to play in at least once a day.
We supply beds, bowls, blankets, food, toys, treats and leads, all included in our fees. You can bring along your own food however we do require detailed instructions along with this. (freezer facilities onsite for raw diets)
Check in times: 3pm-5pm
Check out times 10am-12noon
Please note we are flexible within the times of 8.30am-5pm however if you are out with the specified times, there may be an additional day charge.
We offer a day care service which runs between 8.30am-5pm, 7 days a weeks.
We sell our very own Moorie Mix dog food which is an adult complete mix. Free sample bags are available upon request.
Booking Policy
We accept bookings via the message system on our website, email ([email protected]) or phone call (01674 850232) between our working hours.
If you are passing, feel free to pop into reception during working hours.
Prior to your arrival date we will send you out a booking form for completion. You can bring this with you on the day of arrival or send it back completed via email to [email protected] before your arrival date.
For telephone bookings we will have a booking form waiting for you at reception upon check in.
We require a copy of all dogs updated vaccination booklets, a copy of this can be sent to the [email protected] or bring it with you on the day of arrival and we will take a copy of this. Please note that we do not require the kennel cough vaccine and if you are getting this done, it must be done 12 days prior to entry. Failing to abide by this may result in refusal of kenneling for your dog.
There are no deposits required at this time, we only ask that you give us as much notice as possible if things change or you need to cancel.
